Thank you for sharing your holiday treats with us. We absolutely LOVED them. We loved them so much we thought we would share a sampler with everyone. Congratulations however goes out to Karen Woolsey for her winning letter. Karen will enjoy a fantastic dinner for two at Peppercorns Restaurant.

I like to read AirdrieLIFE because it keeps me up-to-date on what is happening in Airdrie. There is always something new... a business or restaurant, classes or community events.
My favourite holiday treat is either homemade cheesecake or homemade Grasshopper Pie. Yum!

Loved this issue! Lots of interesting (and informative!) articles about local people, but mostly enjoyed learning about all the restaurants and food-service places in Airdrie. I will definitely be visiting Avenue Bakery! Appreciated the article on feeding our feathered friends. We have a constant supply of feed in our backyard for them, but was interesting to read what seeds attract what birds. Love your magazine!

We thought the FIRST AirdrieLIFE mag that we received was a great one. BUT after reading - from cover to cover - this November 2009 issue, we are already looking forward to the next edition. The Taste of Airdrie - about - the 10 picks-dining out section is a great idea - makes one ( us) want to take a drive out for - a good meal - whatever eatery we would choose. This edition of AirdrieLIFE is great and OF COURSE THE PhotoLIFE page and other articles and pictures that Carl has submitted makes us proud. WE are already looking forward to reading the features in the next issue. Keep up the great work. Thank you for a great mag and we are amazed it is free.

I LOVED the magazine this month. We are absolute foodies so I loved the focus on food in Airdrie. We have come so far in Airdrie, as far as food goes, even in few years that we've lived here.

Our favourite holiday treats are many but I'd have to say that my homemade whipped shortbread is the family favourite.

My favourite holiday treat is my wife's cherry loaf which is an old family recipe. I love it so much that I talked her and my mother-in-law into using it as the recipe for our wedding cake so all 200 of our guests could enjoy it !
