Working Women
In the March issue, AirdrieLIFE shines the spotlight on local people who have 'renewed' their lives in a wide variety of ways - MLA Rob Anderson, whose move across the floor is not so much a change as the continued progression of his life in public service; Prairie Sun Creations owner Sue Metheun, who reinvented her business and headed off in a successful new direction; high school mechanics teacher Lena Spicer , whose education and career paths have taken many interesting turns along the way; and Nicole Haake (left), our AirdrieLIFE makeover winner, who has learned that she truly is a mom with Wow!
This issue, we also celebrate the inspirational women of Airdrie - innovators, leaders, entrepreneurs who are making a difference, pursuing their dreams, tackling careers in traditionally male-dominated fields, carrying on family legacies.
We also present our second annual WeddingLIFE section, showing you how easy it is to plan your whole wedding right here in Airdrie!
I am excited to be a part of the AirdrieLIFE family, taking my inspiration from the really incredible women with whom I work, as well as our wonderful contributors and the community at large. This is yet another step along my ever-evolving life journey... although I'll be the first to admit that I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!
So sit back, enjoy AirdrieLIFE's ode to spring and relish the thought that life will once again renew in just a couple of weeks... or months!
